Since 2014, Australia has received a detailed, annual profile of its startup ecosystem thanks to Startup Muster. And the startup community has been eager to participate, with thousands of responses last year from founders, potential founders and startup supporters.

This week, Startup Muster cofounder and CEO Monica Wulff talks about what motivated her to create the survey, how Google became an early supporter, her annual roadtrips across the country to build interest and awareness, the rigorous validation process the responses go through and some of the most interesting results from last year’s report. Monica also talks about the Sydney Startup Hub—an impressive 11-storey, 180,000 square-foot facility for startups, accelerators and incubators opening in the heart of the city.

I first wrote about Sarah Landstreet in 2016 and was impressed. Now she's cashing in on her success as a startup entrepreneur, embracing new challenges. #startup #communitech #georgettepackaging #carbonneutralpackaging #kitchener #techadjacent #towr https://www.therecord.com/news/waterloo-region/2022/04/17/groundbreaking-entrepreneur-eyes-medical-school.html

My Ding-A-Ling was hit because is showcased a performer connecting with his audience. Chuck wrote some of the greatest lyrics in rock history, so we can give him one silly singalong that had an auditorium full of people happily doing whatever he wanted.

Robert Ham asked me to argue for the merits of a number one record I used to loathe but now kind of dig: Chuck Berry’s “My Ding-A-Long.” My thoughts are part of his fine piece for @UPROXX https://uproxx.com/indie/chuck-berry-no-1-hit-my-ding-a-ling/
